As you know we're doing some demos for our upcoming record! We're about to put the wraps on a song tonight hopefully. It's just up to me to knock out some sweeeeeeeet vocals. Maybe we'll throw some metal screaming in, just for fun.......

We've got about 14 songs on the drawing board right now. We've got a lot to do in the next month!! We're all getting ready for recording. Trying to take time off work, save some cash and all that. Maybe we'll post a demo or some pics or a video or something cool to tide you all over.
Anyways, I think Adam's here so we're gonna start setting up our shizzle now.

sooooo we're doing some more home recording. Drums specifically. Calen came in and knocked a song out in like 3 takes, it was gnarly!!!!!
I'm being a huge nerd and ordering parts off the internet so I can build a couple guitar pedals. Pretty intense stuff trying to read schematics. What has been happening in your worlds???? I've hardly seen any of you in so loooooooong. In case you hadn't noticed, we're doing some shows soon around home. Take a look on our myspace page. Sooooooooo. it's been a SUPER long time since any of us posted something here.
In case you didn't know yet we finallllllllllllllllllly found a drummer!!!!!!!!!
His name is Calen Stuckel and he came all the way out from Edmonton to be a part of the G-uNit.

Now that we have a solid line-up, we've demo-ed a TON of new songs. Hopefully some of them will make their way on to our new cd (Soon! - Hint hint)
We're all super stoked to bust 1 or 2 new songs out at some shows in the new year. (maybe). Hmm.... what else is cool? I think I should share this super sweet raving fox/ raving TJ collage I made for my friend Fess.

If you haven't gathered so far, our time with Greeley Estates and Bless The Fall has come to an end.
It was way too much fun and I'm suprised we survived. There was some mad downhill merch cart racing in Vancouver, some awesome stage sound in Calgary, Dance party in Saskatoon!!!!! Some wicked eye gashing in Edmonton. Let's not forget the Peanut butter/Dancing boys/girls in Winnipeg!! One final thing, Nunavut lady in Winnipeg was the greatest moment of my life.
You will be missed my brothers.

So, we're in good old Yorkton again. and I'm about to go to bed.

So we left a few days ago to get some TCB time for the band..... we have been in Los Angeles for the past few days and played a show in Long Beach last night which was awesome. The TV in our 2 story Loft Apartment we are staying at isnt working and I think it's a gooood thing because we are all really tired, but we still get to go to a studio down here and do some stuffs for some peeps, and then to disneyland before we meet up with our tour with "GREELEY ESTATES" and "BLESS THE FALL"

So it's been a long long long time since any of us have entered a journal post, SARRI!!!!!!!! We have all been soo sooo sooo busy getting in as much hours of work before we leave for tour, we all got new toys which is sweet!! thanks so much to Don at Clydesdale custom roadcases for hookin us up like he always does!!!

So we leave today to drive to california and play some lil diddys before we start the "BLESS THE GLORIOUS ESTATES TOUR" which will be a ton of fun! we hope to see all of you guys up front and singing every single word to our entire set and especially our new song we put up on myspace a short while ago.

Tj and I are sitting on the couch at our house right now in our underwear trying to think of something interesting to write, but I think it's just a little early for our brains to completely function?? we'll have a lot of driving time on tour to pull some crazy antics and tell you all about it!

Man it's been a while since I've been on the internet hahah I've been working like a madman, Honestly over 60 hours last week and I'm at 55 hours so far this week...... INTENSE!!!!

We just posted a bunch of tour dates which is always sweet! we still have some dates that we havent posted yet but they will be up soon!! we're really stoked about all of this and cant wait to get out on the road with our good friends in "Greeley Estates" and we hope to build new friendships with the guys in "Bless the Fall" we were supposed to play with them a few weeks ago but they had some van trouble but they got it sorted out and made the rest of their tour dates!!

we also posted a new song last week aswell titled "Between Lions" you might have heard it live but we have a demo version up on the good old internet for all of you to learn the words and sing a long when we come to your city!! man I can't wait to go on tour again! we get too see a lot of our good friends and meet a ton more!!

Whats goin on everyone? Things are going so well here it's not even funny!! I helped Tj and Meghan move some things into their new house today since I'll be staying with them for a few days. Did I mention that their house is our new Jam Space/Home Studio!! well I have my own recording gear, and Tj has his, and Adam has his haha but collectively this is where most of our demoing will be going down!! they even put a bed in the spare room for me when I need a place to crash which is really nice of them!

I'm so excited on the new songs we have been writing!! and the melodies and lyrics that TJ has been coming up with are seriously killing me!! they are so good I can't get them out of my head and I hope they do the same to you all hahah

I've got some really sweet news!! we've got a tour booked for the end of September and half of October with our good friends "Greeley Estates" they are on "the record collection" and have just released their new CD titled "Far From The Lies" so make sure you go pick it up!! We will be playing a few American dates and then into the north we go in our homeland of Canada!! I'll have dates posted by the end of the week on myspace and purevolume so keep posted for that!! I'll be revamping the entire profile with new promo pictures, and maybe a tune for you all to listen to!! I want to make sure everyone is singing along to it when we're on tour.

The search for a drummer continues, we have our good friend Ryan "the madd hammer" Loerke from "Stutterfly" filling in for this tour and some jam time, we will be holding open auditions while we finish writing for the new CD back home in Kelowna once we get back from tour so send me a message if your a drummer or you know a drummer that wants to play in a serious band that will be on tour a lot.

ummmmmm what else is new?? ummmmmmm I've been listening to some new bands lately and I'm pretty stoked on them!
"drop dead gorgeous" their single is really good and hit me hard like a baseball bat,
"THE RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS" man that whole CD is really really good,
"saosin" their new CD comes out really soon and it's good man Howard Benson is an amazing producer, "Means" a band from Regina and they are heading into the studio soon too!! seriously gives me chills watching them
"Cartel" they've almost hit a million in Cd sales and I can't get sick of the CD hahah
"Mysery Signals" new CD is killa killa!!! so good

A lot of other music but I'm too tired to write about it, I think I get to go home to calgary for a bit before tour which is BOSS because my sisiter in law is prego to the 9s and I miss my neice, mom, dad, brothers, sister in laws a lot too, I miss my friends too but they are all so supportive of what I'm doing so it's rad!

I'm getting tattooed again soon which is good, It's been a while hha I go in spurts instead of slow and always.... buuuuuut this is the end of this entry, maybe the longest one yet but then again who knows

so we've been writing a bunch and TJ has come up with some KILLER STUFF that will stick in your head for days hahah Phil is so good at taking anything he hears and turning it into straight awesome! and Adam and I have been busy here putting our ideas onto the computer to share with the rest of them!!!! I'm super excited to go on tour again!

we'll be hitting up the good old USA and of course Canada too come september and october for a bit! were just finalizing all the details before we make our formal press release and all that shabang
